Stopped by to have lunch, and the poutine we had was huge same for the burgers we ordered; they were very generous with the bacon, and their funnel cakes weren't soaked in oil. Overall, from the friendly servers to the cute drawings on the container, their generosity made the stop by a very memorable day!

I am super impressed with the food at Hunter's. My wife and I have eaten here a few times and everything we have tried has been amazing and delicious! We've tried the smash burgers, the Friday fish and chips, and I had a heaven dog (added dill sauce, can't say enough good things about their dill sauce),and we also had the funel cake fries, which is something I had never heard of, and was super impressed with how good they were! I can't wait to try more from Hunter's!!!
Absolutely amazing food!! I had the handmade breaded pogo and regular poutine and both of them were great! My friend has the pulled pork poutine. The pogo breading was crispy, the poutine gravy and fries were fresh and delicious (also too much for me to finish— but was glad to have some to take home). The funnel cake fries are a must try— perfect way to end an outing. Will 100% be going back again this summer and will be stopping by whenever I’m heading north!
Fantastic food truck!!! Just tried Hunter's Dawg House, one of the best food trucks I've been to in years. It starts with friendly service, plenty of parking and a fun menu. Their main item is a variety of (Nathan's) footlong hot dogs to choose from, but they also have smash burgers, various poutine options and great fresh cut fries. We tried a regular footlong, along with another footlong called the 'Elvis'. The Elvis is a creative hot dog that includes peanut butter, jam, Fruity Pebbles and bacon. All the items we ordered looked amazing in terms of presentation, carefully placed in a cardboard tray for easy takeaway. Definitely going back to try their smash burgers and butter chicken poutine! Highly recommended!
The ladies were amazing and the food was delicious!! Portions are big!! I wanted pickles on my poutine and they added them for me, soo good!! Definitely recommend trying the funnel cake fries!
This place is amazing! Trust me, try their chicken burger with the homemade spicy mayo and it's better than Chick-fil-A . . Their friendliness, mouthwatering food, the ambience and overall the wholesome experience melted my heart. Will definitely visit again.
Poutine with pulled pork was delicious, it was very saucy and I asked for hot sauce on the side which made it 100/10. Would def recommend if you’re driving by and need a quick lunch.
Finally, gourmet hot dogs availible in the Kawartha Lakes. Got Hailey's Comet and the kids poutine for $15 and it was an excellent. Hot dog is hilariously big and they are generous with the toppings. I was stuffed by the end of the Comet and still had the poutine to tackle! The seasoning on these fries is silly, it's Cajun seasoning but way better. Buns are fresh, staff are friendly. Picnics tables availible. I asked them to move the food truck to my street but didn't have any luck. Which means I'll definitely be making a return trip!
